About 1.5 kg of homemade rhubarb and ginger jam, made with rhubarb from the allotment. I’m a jam newbie, so I’m not convinced that it will set properly, but I would be happy with nice tasting, slightly runny jam.

Over Easter, we visited a National Trust property, Baddesley Clinton, which is in Warwickshire. It’s a lovely Elizabethan house, with lots of priest holes (the family was Catholic) and wonderful grounds. I love the details of old stone and plants growing over it.
